Local Priorities Anti-social behaviour - General Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Anti-social behaviour - General, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

WE have received over a number of months in relation to drug supply and associated anti-social behaviour, in the Wilson Street and Mulgrave Road areas of the Victoria Ward. As a result we have executed Sec 23 Misuse of drugs Act warrants at Wilson Street and Mulgrave Road. Wilson Street was a negative result, however the landlord has agreed with the Hartlepool Community Safety Team to evict the tenant because of anti-social behaviour. A positive outcome was achieved at Mulgrave Road, with a quantity of drugs and items located, 6 persons were arrested and as a result Hartlepool Police in partnership with Hartlepool Community Safety Team are pursuing a Closure Notice for the address, which will close the property for 3 months. We will act on information from our communities and follow up with enforcement where applicable.
